Hi, I'm Darsh Shah
I work in the gap between product, finance, and ops - the space nobody owns but everyone needs.
The most valuable work I've done has always lived between functions. At Epic, I watch product, ops, and finance chase the same answer from different angles in messy Slack threads and launch reviews. Nobody owns that gap. So I do.
My job is connecting the ask to the numbers, getting the call made, and keeping the build moving. Before moving to the US in 2022 for business school, I worked with founders and GMs in scrappy teams - seed rounds, Series B decks, $50M opex plans. The pattern was always the same: pull customer signals, technical constraints, and cash realities into one plan people actually trust.
I'm drawn to systems. These days I spend most of my time inside Claude Code, and the same part of my brain that enjoys untangling why a metric isn't moving enjoys building tools that make complex workflows feel obvious. There's something satisfying about watching a messy process collapse into something that just works.
This site is where some of that thinking ends up - half-formed, sometimes wrong, but out in the open.
If you're working on something in this space, I'd like to hear about it.
